Driving down King Street West in the theatre district, you can't help but notice Sunset Neon's full-colour, 70-foot long "ticker tape" message centre promoting the latest films to hit the big screen.

The giant halo-lit channel letters that Sunset Neon installed above the entrance are free-standing, halo-lit, front-lit, and also visible from the restaurant behind the sign, for brilliance from every angle.  The design was a challenge for Sunset Neon, and the result turned out to be extremely effective.

As well as the main channel-letter sign, the location has a large-format, changeable banner, a pierced, infilled, LED-illuminated fascia light box, and custom-fabricated column-mounted poster boxes at the entrance.

With a tight delivery schedule, the signs were all fabricated and installed in time for the unveiling at the grand opening of the new permanent home of the TIFF.

See the TIFF magazine article from Sign Media magazine describing the critial need for wlcoming wayfinding signs and electronic message centres.
